Quinbrook and PEP are now in negotiations with The Lincolnshire Community Foundation (LCF) for the role of administrator for the Mallard Pass Construction Fund. LCF was identified by local community representatives as a preferred organisation for the fund’s administration and the project team are now in direct discussions. Negotiations regarding the details of a potential appointment are progressing positively, and all parties are now working constructively towards finalising arrangements.

Subject to completion of the appointment process, the agreed administrator of the Construction Fund will communicate its scope to the wider community. This will provide local residents, community organisations and other stakeholders an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed approach to fund administration, eligibility criteria and governance arrangements before the guidelines are finalised and applications for funding are submitted. 

What is the Construction Fund?

• A standalone funding allocation to access throughout the construction phase of the Solar Farm.

• Managed by an independent third-party administrator with all applications subject to agreed eligibility criteria.

• Entirely separate from the yearly Community Benefit Fund, which will be available during the Solar Farm’s operation, with more details forthcoming in due course.
